1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the Pacific Paws app (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the legal owner or authorized caretaker of any pet you add to your account to use the App.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

4. Appointment requests

Booking a time slot in the App submits an appointment request — it is not confirmed until our clinic reviews and confirms it. We will notify you once confirmed. Submitting a request does not guarantee availability.

Cancellations

• Most appointments can be cancelled if you contact us at least 48 hours in advance.
• Certain appointment types, including TPLO surgery and ultrasound, cannot be cancelled online and require a phone call.
• Cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment time must be made by phone at 206-528-3838.

5. Uploaded content

When you upload photos or documents to your pet’s records, you confirm that you have the right to share that content and you consent to our veterinary staff accessing it as part of your pet’s care. Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringes on someone else’s rights, or is unrelated to your pet’s care.

6. Medical disclaimer

The App is a tool for managing appointments and viewing records — it does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and nothing in the App should be treated as a substitute for an in-person examination by a licensed veterinarian. Always contact us directly with medical questions or concerns about your pet.

7. Third-party services

The App connects to EzyVet, our veterinary practice management platform, to retrieve and update your pet’s medical records. Your use of the App is also subject to the availability and performance of that third-party service, which is outside our control.

8. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another client’s account or pet records
• Interfere with or disrupt the App’s operation or security
• Submit false information about yourself or your pet

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pacific Paws Animal Hospital is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us for use of the App.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App and request account deletion at any time.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
